2× LiTaq™ HotStart HiFi PCR Master Mix is a ready-to-use formulation containing HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, Mg²⁺, and an optimized reaction buffer. Built-in stabilizers and enhancers ensure reagent stability and maximize amplification performance. This pre-mixed HotStart PCR solution reduces pipetting steps, saving time and minimizing contamination risks. It includes inert, non-toxic dyes for easy visualization during mixing and allows direct loading of PCR products onto gels for electrophoresis. This HotStart Taq PCR Master Mix demonstrates broad template compatibility and high inhibitor tolerance. It is ideal for amplifying DNA or cfDNA extracted from diverse sample types, including FFPE tissues, saliva, stool, urine, and blood.

The HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase featured in this mix is a high-fidelity enzyme that combines strong amplification efficiency with exceptional accuracy. It exhibits 5'→3' polymerase activity and 3'→5' exonuclease (proofreading) activity, producing blunt-ended amplicons suitable for seamless cloning and next-generation sequencing library construction. With an extension rate of 15–30 seconds per kilobase, this polymerase offers fidelity 50 times higher than conventional Taq, while overcoming the slow amplification speed and low efficiency often associated with ordinary Pfu enzymes—thereby significantly shortening reaction time.
