PeneFect™ DNA Transfection Reagent for HEK293, CHO & Hard-to-Transfect Cells

PeneFect™ Transfection Reagent is a high-performance, biodegradable polymer-based solution engineered for superior DNA delivery. Developed using proprietary synthesis technology, PeneFect™ provides effective, reproducible transfection across common cell lines and hard-to-transfect mammalian cells, including HEK293, CHO, HeLa, COS-7, and NIH-3T3.

Why Choose PeneFect™ Reagent for Your Lab?

1. Our unique biodegradable formula degrades rapidly following endocytosis, ensuring high cell viability.

2. Form stable transfection complexes in just 5 minutes at room temperature.

3. Optimized for both standard recombinant protein production and large DNA constructs (>89 kb).

4. 1.0 ml provides sufficient reagent for ~667 transfections (24-well) or ~333 transfections (6-well), making it a budget-friendly alternative to market-leading brands.

Key Features & Benefits

Case Study

Fluorescence microscopy of HEK-293 cells transfected with PeneFect showing high GFP expression and healthy morphology.

A comparative analysis of transfection efficiency between PeneFect™ reagent and Lipofectamine 2000, was performed on HEK-293T cells.
HEK-293T cells were transfected with a GFP expression vector (pEGFP-N3) using PeneFect™ (left panel) or Lipofectamine 2000 (right panel). Transgene expression was assessed 24 hours post-transfection using a Nikon Eclipse fluorescence microscope.

Fluorescence microscopy of HepG2 cells transfected with PeneFect showing high GFP expression and healthy morphology.
